Our Speyside Drams tour is for the whisky lovers who want to explore small distilleries and sample the finest drams. This full day tour will leave from the heart of royal Deeside or Aberdeen City and take in 2 of scenic hill passes between Aberdeenshire and Moray. This tour has been put together to share 2 of our favourite Speyside drams!

We will head over the renowned Cabrach to Craigellachie for our first stop of the day, the Speyside Cooperage, where we will be shown the art of barrel restoration. A truly fascinating experience.

We will then visit our first of two distilleries, the Glenallachie, where you will be treated to their premium experience tour, hosted by some of the industries most experienced guides. Since its release the Glenallachie has been snapping up some of the top whisky awards in the world and you will soon find out why!

After our tour and tasting at the Glenallachie we will head into Aberlour for some lunch at the Mashtun Restaurant. Choose from one of their famous baguettes or basket meals and enjoy with a drink of your choice (up to £5 in value or surcharge applies)

After lunch we will visit the only truly family-owned distillery left on Speyside, Glenfarclas. Here we will be treated to a classic tour, learning all about the family history and its glorious whisky. There’s something special about Glenfarclas, and I don’t think its down to one thing, its everything! The old school branding on the bottles, the quality of the drams, the family history and the quality of the expert guides!

Next we will take a scenic drive over the Lecht heading for home. With one final stop at the Steading Bar, Strathdon, where you will be treated to a special flight of a Dram, a pint and a pie! What better way to end the day?!

All this for £130 per person which is fully inclusive of all tours, tastings and lunch.This is a full day tour lasting approx.10 hours with pick up in upper Deeside at 8.30am and returning around 6.30pm.

This tour is also available as a private tour for 1 – 8 people for an inclusive price of £400 + £70 per person and will include collection from anywhere in Aberdeenshire.
